Offbeat Manda Gastro Treats

For someone who’s so used to eating in fast-food restaurants and food establishments that are found in malls, there is this longing to always try and taste something new. So when I tried to look for top restaurants in Mandaluyong using the internet, I got frustrated with the results. Most them are located in, where else, malls. I thought, being a Mandaluyong baby, coming up with a list of food spots in the city can be beneficial not just to me but to my friends as well.

So here, my attempt at making a list of offbeat gastro places in the Tiger City that every Mandaluyong residents and guests alike should try. I have visited some of them, which are shown with a red check mark and rated with stars (5 being the highest) based on my experience, and I still plan to drop by those I haven’t been to yet.

I cannot share any mouthwatering images of food with you because I don’t really like taking photos of the meals I eat unless there’s a shotgun pointed at my head. Jk. All images found here are from the social media accounts or official website of the restaurants included in this list.

UPDATE: I have decided to remove Charlie’s Wonton House, PVL Restaurant, and R & J Bulalohan from the list to give way to the new and rising food spots. I also categorized the list for better navigation.
